01) why join the origamism, or are you surprised to find yourself listed? * A difficult question. Perhaps because the originator scared the shit out of me at a bus-stop when I was 14, and apologized by showering me with mail-art a year later? Or because I deep down have some sort of longing for an open secret society? A deep sense of correct synchronicity? Propably the answer is that it just felt completewly right at the time... 02) best, worst or first origami memory: * Best: Heads up between almost being sucked off in Newcastle and a magical night in Kosice. Worst: A stupid fight about half a chicken. First: Getting a screed of mailart and TOPY manifestos at the tender age of 15. My initiation was reading a occultist poem almost naked and covered in ashes in Banska Bystrica together with local band where nobody spoke english and we were all sorta kinda tripping on a shared acid-blot... 03) basic or personal motive for creation: * Basic motive: Some sort of longing for sublimity. A basic urge to make something good in this world. Personal: A need to create something bigger than Self/Eye, to participate in an order of positive anarchism. To not take it laying down. Autonomy as a serious project. And of course, egoistically, to be cutting edge in the Gibson sense of the word. 04) motive for participation & exchange in general: * Because negativism/stupidity/satanism (in the true sense of the word) is just plain wrong. And because I truly do love good people. And I do tend to howl against the dying of the light. 05) related interests in arts, philosophy, music or other fields of culture: * Oh vey. Arts: Merz, surrealism, situationism, brutalism, futurism and these days the more arcane parts of video/film projections. (As well as my own stuff of course, wich is no part of any of these.) Philosophy: On bad days: Schopenhauer. On good days: platon. Music: These days, mostly Pogues, Dubliners and Irish drinking songs in general, with a smattering of Bob Dylan and old punk. (Nomeansno Dark Ages.). Noise died with the laptop. Other: I work with LARPs, laiv roleplaying games. Our last project was a three day simulation of a maoist camp in 1975. 06) less obvious or non-related interests: * Self-proletarization and squatting houses. Getting traumatized by cops. (Im off to Athens soon) 07) a few words on your background, education, daily work or such: * Hmmm, educated in modern history, worked in industry for some years while doing art on the side, tried for Art-status had a breakdown, currently working for Gallery annex and organizing laiv roleplaying games. Great fan of South Park and Dione Fortune. 08) wishes, prayers or hopes: * For some sort of pure art-movement interested in the actual art as opposed to the art-scene to rise out of the ashes of the last 20 years. An art-scene allied with the rebels in Greece and elsewhere, not the galleries. And of course, the banishment of laptops from all forms of music and performeing arts. 09) slogan, motto, credo: * "Ich bin nicht hier" or "We are not here because we are too many" (Thanks, Bjarne) or "There is enough for everyone to want some".And of course "Timmy!" 10) any words for the POTENTIAL manifesto? Dont hate the system, just build around it. The 20-somethings have no stayingpower. And... And... Ah shit, I could write a manifesto on my thoughts about a manifesto...
